Oberkramer makes Diamond Nationals at Lucas Oil Speedway

Saturday night found Mason Oberkramer in action at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) for the 28th annual Show-Me 100. Drawing 44 cars for the event co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and the Lucas Oil MLRA, Oberkramer dropped one spot in his heat race to place ninth. Needing a third place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Mason came two spots shy with a fifth place finish.

Returning on Sunday afternoon for the CMH Diamond Nationals, Mason recorded a sixth place finish in his heat, transferring him into the B-Main. Scoring a second place spot behind Tim McCreadie, Oberkramer locked into the 20th-starting position for the finale.
