11th place finish in Slocum 50 at 34 Raceway

On Friday night Mason Oberkramer followed the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) to 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) for the 12th annual Slocum 50. Drawing 35 cars, Oberkramer came in sixth fastest in his group before grabbing the fourth and final transfer position in his heat race. The following night at 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa) for the Independence Day Shootout, Mason logged a sixth place finish in his heat, which positioned him 17th on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $5,000 on the line, Oberkramer was an early retiree from the 40-lapper on the lap 13.
