Top-5 finish in MLRA stop at Mississippi Thunder Speedway

On Friday afternoon at Mississippi Thunder Speedway (Fountain City, Wis.) for the River City Rumble, Mason timed in fourth fastest in his group before picking up a 10-lap heat race victory. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in third, Oberkramer dropped two positions in the 40-lap affair to record a fifth-place finish. He trailed Tony Jackson Jr., Jeremiah Hurst, A.J. Diemel, and Jake Timm to the checkers.

To wrap up the weekend on Saturday at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.), Oberkramer scored a third-place finish in his heat, which positioned him ninth on the starting grid for the finale. With $5,000 on the line, Mason lost six spots in the 40-lapper to register a 15th-place outing.
