Oberkramer records Top-10 finish in Hell Tour debut at Springfield

Drawing 32 Late Models for the seventh round of the Hell Tour, Mason laid down the second-fastest time in his group before placing second in his heat race. With $5,000 on the line in the feature, Oberkramer lost one spot in the 40-lap affair to place seventh.
Returning to action on Friday, Oberkramer invaded Federated Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Mo.) as the DIRTcar Summer Nationals collided with the World of Case Late Model Series for the two-day St. Louis Firecracker Faceoff. Following a seventh-place finish in his heat, Mason failed to transfer out of his B-Main with a sixth-place finish.
On Saturday evening, Mason’s ninth-place finish in his heat race relegated him into one of two consolation events for one last shot at the $20,000-to-win finale. Needing to place third or better, Oberkramer logged a 10th-place outing.
