Oberkramer competes in MLRA Spring Nationals
Mason Oberkramer took to Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, over the weekend to compete in the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) season opener.
Forty-four MLRA Super Late Models filled the pit area of the 3/8-mile track during each day of the 11th annual Spring Nationals, starting with the $7,000-to-win kickoff show on Friday. That evening, Oberkramer drove his Oberkramer Trucking No. 93 car to a ninth-place result in his heat race and 11th in his B-Main. He started the 40-lap feature from the 24th spot but faced early trouble and recorded a DNF. He came home in the 20th position.
On Saturday, Oberkramer finished eighth in his heat and fifth in his B-Main, ending his event in advance of the 60-lap, $20,000-to-win finale.
He is currently 13th in MLRA standings with two shows in the books in 2024.
